If one good thing came out of my moving to Texas for a few months in 2014, it had to be this pineapple tea light holder I found at LulaB’s for $15.

I remember being in the middle of this sweet little day trip I took for myself the first Thursday I was in Texas and spotting this pineapple treasure in a sea of antique ‘whose-its and whats-its galore‘. I remember how I scooped it up and hugged it close while I walked through the rest of the store. It made me so happy that day.

Fast forward almost a whole year and a whole lot of lessons and changes later, I was ready to spray paint this pineappley little guy! I used the Valspar Metallic Gold Paint at the recommendation on A Beautiful Mess, and it turned out…AWWEESSOOMMEE…

It’s been the perfect little accent piece, and I love it. I’ve yet to put an actual tea light inside of it, and you know what: maybe I never will.
