MY BUCKET LIST // Fall'20 - DIY CHARCUTERIE

MY BUCKET LIST // Autumn 2020 - DIY CHARCUTERIE BOARD | Amanda Zampelli

At the end of August, I talked about THE AUTUMN BUCKET LIST you see above. This past week was Tom’s 33rd birthday, and to celebrate, I knew I wanted to host an intimate little wine-tasting meat & cheese night. I titled it: Tom’s Charcuter33! Haa haa! So fun!

WHY THE ITEM WAS ON MY LIST:

I’m planning to create my own charcuterie board for Tom’s 33rd birthday. In fact, I’m planning on calling it his CHARCUTER-33! Haa haa! I found the perfect slab of wood for it, too! I‘m looking forward to sharing how it all comes together.

MY REFLECTION ON IT:

DONE & DONE & DONE! I created a fun signage with a pieces of black poster board and old me & my BIG ideas alphabet stickers I had from when I worked for the company. I bought big slabs of wood at HomeGoods in the summer, and a few cheap fall decor pieces from BigLots! This was a lot of fun, although it was A LOT OF WORK. It probably would have cost me the same amount of time to have come home from teaching and cooked a meal as it did to unpack and position meats & cheeses & olives & dips & gherkins! OMG! Gherkins, people!

…and that’s all, folks! Two Bucket List items complete, eight more to go! I kind of wrote my items in the order I think I’ll be doing them, so growing mint and painting pumpkins are on deck! Stay tuned!
