MY DECEMBER DAILY® ALbums

December Daily® is a December mini-album project created & facilitated by Ali Edwards. The simple goal of it is to capture the spirit of December via one story per day.

I have created some kind of a December Daily® album every year since 2011. I art-journalled in my planner in 2011, made a template for my 6x8 album in 2015, memory-planned my December in 2016 & ‘17 in Happy Planners, and explored the 6x8 format with a letter to something each day in December 2018 to help my get through the grief of a breakup. SPOILER: It worked like a charm!

Below you can browse through my completed albums.

Decembers 2019 through 2021 you can see my story really open up once I met (my now husband) Tom. In 2021, I was also a member of the new December Daily® Creative Team!

LISTEN TO ALI EDWARDS ON THE PODCAST

In episode 46 of Crafty Ass Female, Kristin + I got Ali to return to the podcast to talk about the backstory + approach to her December Daily® project.

Ali talks ‘foundation pages’ + album prep, and documenting travel during her December 2018 as a separate piece to incorporate in her album.

Listening to this episode of the podcast is a great place to start if you're new to the project, and to hear how its creator wants you to think about it.
