December Daily 2020 // Day 9

Welcome to my December Daily 2020 | Story 9.

Today’s story is about the live-streamed online from home workouts I’ve started this month. I had set up my album to use the WEDNESDAY digital design from Paislee Press for sotry nine, but decided on the day that I was going to create a pull-out piece from behind it.

On the front side, I included a mirror selfie right before unrolling my mat to start a workout, and on the backside, I have my typed up journalling about it all.

I was working on the backside of a paper-collaged tree I wanted to use for story ten, and experimented successfully with a photo I trimmed to the same triangle shape. I wanted to capture the fiery yoga mat I’ve had forever and a little bit of Carmen and a little bit of me and a little bit of dumb bell. I love how it turned out.

The card from Ali’s Holiday Cheer card deck that coordinates with DAY 9’s story is the one that reads ”spend time alone soaking in all the joys of this season.” That’s what this early morning workout - while Tom is still sleeping - has been: a joy of this season I do alone.
