christmas lights & 90s cartoons

After Saturday night dinner at Vanessa & Eric’s house, Tom and I hit the dark clear highway again and headed home. I don’t know how we got on the topic of T.V. show theme songs, but we did.

We started looking some up on YouTube and then I found a 20 minute “guess the 90s cartoon theme song” video. “Play it!” Tom said, so I did.

There we were: Thomas Rowinski and Amanda Zampelli, driving through the streets of Garden City, looking at lit million-dollar homes, while listening to cartoon theme songs from our childhood, guessing “Rugrats! Hey Arnold! Pepper Anne! Captain Planet! Ahhh, Real Monsters!” It was pure & utter magic. It was the perfect December evening and I’ll never forget it as long as I live.

Tom, I love you so much. I can’t believe you’re finally here.
